Kramer Austria Modernist, Brooch Porphyr Art Glass

This brooch by Kramer is a real piece of art with an abstract design loaded with rhinestones, and a beautiful variegated red porphyr art glass cabochon stone.   Rhinestones are clear, blue, purple clear with an aurora borealis coating.  Brooch is enhanced with detailed gold metal prongs and gold glass leaves. 

Porphyr or Purpurin (glass is an opaque glass of brownish to lustrous deep-reddish color which in classical antiquity was used for residential luxury objects, mosaics and various decorative purposes.  This type of glass is somewhat harder than normal glass but can be easily cut and polished. 


Approx. Size:   2" x 1.5"; 3 large stones are 20mm; 20 x 11 mm & 25 x 15mm

Modernist Kramer Crackle Tile Necklace

Modernist tile necklace with distinctive crackle finish

Approx. Size:  16" x .75" (40.5 x 2 cm)

Condition: One small section of string is missing between two links. You can see the gap in the lower left corner in the first photo.  Since each link is fastened separately no other links are affected.

Mark:  None.  Did have a Kramer hang tag

1960s modernist tile choker necklace by Kramer. Rectangular links of cream thermoset plastic with gold crackle finish. Links are double strung with plastic inset in the links. Small gap between each link emphasizes the design. Gold back. Hook clasp with gold chain extender.

Late 60s or early 70s Kramer pendant/brooch with embroidered crest. Gold metal shield that works as both a brooch and a pendant. Detail is embroidered navy blue fabric. Stylized British royal coat of arms on a dark navy background.
