Vintage 60s Kramer flower brooch in brushed gold tone with faux pearl center at MadgesHatbox.

This is a really interesting piece. The raised brushed texture looks almost like beading which, along with the center pearl, give this piece an expensive look. However the shape is a fun 60s mod daisy which also gives this brooch it's playful air. Brushed gold tone petals with bright gold tone edging. Faux pearl center surrounded by gold tone stamin. #JP127

APPROX. SIZE: 1.5" diameter

CONDITION: Good. Very small nick on one petal. See first photo, right petal

Kramer was founded by Louis Kramer 1943. Since all activities of the company were centered in New York City many of the pieces are marked “Kramer NYC or Kramer of New York. The company was know for it intricate design work and use of rhinestones particularly in floral or geometric patterns. Kramer was also a maker for Dior in the 1950s-60s. The company closed in the 1970s.
