Large button style red enamel on sterling silver. Raised coat of arms of the Russian Imperial Crest. Double headed eagle. The coat of arms of the Russian Federation derives from the earlier coat of arms of the Russian Empire which was abolished with the Russian Revolution in 1917 and restored in 1993 after the constitutional crisis. The two main elements are Russian state symbols, the two-headed eagle and the mounted figure slaying the dragon. These are for the vintage guy not afraid to make a statement. Whale closure.
Approx. Size: 1.25" diameter
Condition: Very good, wear on backs.
Mark/Label: F & S, sterling silver
Bud and John Fenwick and partner Ovid Sailors established Fenwick & Sailors in Hollywood in the late 1940s. The company was well known for very high quality men’s jewelry and accessories. In addition to original designs they made jewelry with the logos of major companies. One of their most famous customers was Bob Hope who gave out their cuff links as gifts during his USO trips. The business was sold sometime in the late 1970s.
